At Stella, our goal is to provide a progressive menu with southern flair and a wine list that provides variety both in type of wine offered and price point within each category.
We endeavor to select wines that are not commonly found in the Memphis area and seek out smaller production wineries whenever possible. We also want to take some of the mystery out of selecting a suitable bottle of wine to pair with your meal. Along with continuing wine education for the staff, we also include informative and entertaining descriptions in the wine list to help with this goal.
As you enjoy your wine, you may notice the large format glass that we use. This 24oz. Spiegelau crystal glass is designed to enhance the complete wine drinking experience.
With certain popular wines, such as those from Silver Oak vineyard, we strive to offer a vertical selection of wines. This has been very well received and we will continue to develop this side of our wine-purchasing program. We also offer larger format bottles in some of our most popular wines. Our wines by the glass change on a regular basis and are used as a way to introduce people to the wine list.
